We’ve introduced a major enhancement to Nuvasuite’s insurance billing engine to correctly handle multiple active insurance policies from the same payer, a scenario in which two different policies may share the same payer ID and tax ID.
This enhancement ensures each claim is treated as distinct by the clearinghouse, avoids duplicate submissions, and guarantees accurate ERA posting without cross-mapping errors. The system now uses intelligent claim matching to ensure absolute accuracy in multi-policy workflows.
This improvement significantly strengthens billing reliability, reduces manual intervention, eliminates ambiguous matches, and ensures fully compliant processing.
Nuvasuite now fully supports patients who have more than one active policy under the same payer ID. Each claim is treated as unique, even when the payer information is identical.
Claims for Policy A and Policy B are now automatically separated, sequenced correctly, and submitted without conflict.
Incoming ERAs (835s) now always match to the correct claim and policy, ensuring payments post accurately without manual cleanup.
